Terms and Conditions

• All orders are subject to acceptance. We reserve the right to reject orders due to insufficient stock, pricing errors, or suspected fraud.
• A binding contract is formed when we send a written order confirmation (via email or post) containing details of products, prices, and delivery terms.
• Order details (e.g., quantity, product type) may be modified only with our written consent.

• Prices are listed in GBP and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to adjust prices without notice, but confirmed orders will be honored at the quoted price.
• Payment must be made in full at checkout via credit/debit card, bank transfer, or cash (in-store).
• We are not liable for fees charged by your bank or payment provider (e.g., currency conversion fees).
• Unpaid orders may be canceled after 48 hours.

• We strive to provide accurate descriptions, images, and specifications. However, minor variations in timber grain, color, or dimensions may occur due to the natural properties of wood.
• All measurements are approximate (e.g., “2.4m length” may vary by ±5mm).
• We do not warrant that products are suitable for specific applications (e.g., structural use). Customers are responsible for verifying product suitability for their project.

• Delivery terms are governed by our Shipping Policy. We are not liable for delays caused by factors beyond our control (e.g., weather, courier strikes, road closures).
• Risk of loss or damage transfers to you upon delivery. Inspect items upon receipt and report damage within 48 hours (see Returns & Exchanges).

• All content on our website (text, images, logos, product designs) is owned by Smith and Timber Ltd or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use this content without written permission.

• Our total liability for any claim (e.g., defective products, delivery errors) shall not exceed the purchase price of the affected item(s).
• We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (e.g., loss of profit, project delays, or costs of third-party repairs).
